World Cuisine Mini Bundt Cake Mold

This mini bundt cake mold from Wold Cuisine is a very hand tool to have in the cabinet.  It’s made from food grade silicone that can be heated up to 500 degrees (who cooks a bundt cake that hot?!) up to 3,000 times.

The really cool thing about using silicone instead of steel or aluminum is that it’s super non-stick.  You also don’t need to worry about scratching the non-stick off.  It’s also dishwasher safe.

I borrowed this cake mold from my sister-in-law and found a few fun uses for it.  I used it to make donuts and the detail of the bundt design come out clear and perfect, but since this pan is much deeper than a traditional donut pan I had to increase my bake time by about seven minutes.  I also used it for cupcakes and filled the hollow center with frosting.  Very fun!

This pan is hard to find in local stores.  Right now, Amazon.com has it for under $20, which isn’t a huge savings, but it does qualify for free shipping if your order is over $25.
