Disney’s Cars was a great movie, and this shaped cake pan will let you relive how much fun it was to watch it.  Having this cake at your little guy’s birthday party will show him how much you care and he’ll feel like a million bucks!

This cake is an intermediate level of difficulty.  Most cartoon shaped cake pans are pretty easy, but this one has a bit more detail than most.  The lines need to be iced well to keep the perspective correct.  The overall shape of the cake is a bit awkward, so attention to detail is important.

This cake mold, like most of Wilton’s cake pans, is aluminum which allows for great and even baking without drying out the inside.  It comes with detailed instructions and Wilton also has downloadable instructions on its website.

If you found this cake locally it would run you about $20.  Amazon.com has it for less than $15 as I’m writing this.  What a deal!

Alternatively, you can check out eBay for the Wilton Cars Cake Pan. They tend to have lower prices than Amazon. This is great when you only want to get the pan.
