Decorating this cake is pretty easy since the bulk of it is one color. The tricky part is dealing with it being 3-D and adding the icing to the undersides. A lazy-susan is almost a necessity if you want this cake to turn out right. The mold is two pieces that are cooked separately. After it’s been cooked, you have to shave down the pieces that line up to make sure that they are level, and join them together with icing.
